Livestock are animals kept for use or pleasure, seen as assets for profit, and have no control over their reproduction or way of life due to human control. I feel a connection to cows, which link to my childhood and serve as a medium for discussing current events. This artwork responds to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, expressing my inner concerns and seeking clarity on reclaiming bodily autonomy from a government that devalues individuals with a uterus. The ruling suggests that our bodily functions are deemed more valuable than personal choices in a supposedly free country.
